Ink has faded and so is hard to read. Botany might try looking at writing under UV light, which often brings out the faded ink and makes it more legible. Other possibility - This is the narrow leaf primrose. I understand it grows near rivers. The first two words look like Banner-ice. Don't third word in the line.
