Wessl (i.e. Wessel?) appears to refer to A.W. Wessel, who wrote a volume about plants on the North Sea Islands (_Die Nordseeinsel Spiekeroog_). Dodemannsdelle probably refers to a location on the island of Borkum in Ostfriesland.
