New York Zoological Society - Totem pole, house and house posts and 4 other Northwest Coast pieces collected by the Harriman Alaska Expedition in 1899 - in all 7 pieces. 

William F. Stiles - a small collection of archaeology from the Bronx. 

Dr. Philip Van Ingen - Pennsylvania archaeology - 663 pieces. 

G. H. Macauley - 5 Navaho blankets

Edward W. Milker - North Dakota archaeology - 47 specimens
St. Lucia archaeology - 229 specimens
From the large number of sherds of this West Indian material we were able to reconstruct several large vessels. 

An additionally important individual specimen was presented as follows:
 
Miss Catherine Van Cortlandt Matthews and Mrs. William V. Mason - A bow from the Kitchawank tribe of the Wappinger, long a Van Cortlandt family relic. 

A valuable addition to the equipment of the Museum was the gift of a projector for Koda-chrome film slides made by the Viking Fund, Incorporated. 

[[underlined]] SPECIMENS ACQUIRED [[/underlined]]

Although no collections were acquired, due to fiscal conditions, the Museum became the possessor of several unusual pipes and cloud blowers from Los Angeles County, California.
