11 There were 7 new serial issues added during the year. Since January 1944 we have had bound 27 volumes and have expended $183.72 for this and for envelopes and folders properly to file parts of our manuscript material. Work has commenced on cataloguing our collection of Stockbridge Papers and on the Mission Indian papers, which were acquired through gift or by purchase several years ago. [[underlined]] PUBLICATIONS [[/underlined]] Through the generous grant of $1000. from the Viking Fund, Incorporated, reported last year, we were enabled to publish volume XIII in our Contributions series, Inlaid Stone and Bone Artifacts from Southern California by E. K. Burnett. We have received a grant this year of $2500. to aid our publishing program. We hope to complete within the present calendar year volume XIV in this series, a catalogue of the specimens in the Museum's collection from the Spiro Mound, Le Flore County, Oklahoma. The sale of publications amounted to $468.44, and of the two series of post cards to $116.06.
