[[underlined]] EXPEDITIONS [[/underlined]]

We were able during the Autumn of 1948 to sent Mr. Bernard Edley to collect among the Santa Cruz Maya of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Mr. Edley returned with a considerable amount of material culture specimens and several interesting ceremonial pieces. As these Santa Cruz Indians were not previously represented among our collections, this expedition permitted us to fill a gap in the material made and used by the present day Maya of the Yucatan peninsula.
