French Indochina encompassed modern day Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and part of southern China Tonkin is a region in northern Vietnam (I think that is where the Professor who collected the sample was based from, not where the sample is from) Chapa inncluded in a place called Sa Pa in Vietnam The specimen at the link below is probably from the same collector and collecting trip.
