My goodness aren't puzzles wonderful. By searching on Herb. L. Pierre on Google, one finds some interesting listings. https://www.google.ca/search?q=mont+torrato&oq=mont+torrato&aqs=chrome..69i57.2703j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=herb.+l+pierre&* By looking at one of the top listings of plants, such as at the following website, https://science.mnhn.fr/all/list?originalCollection=Herb.+L.Pierre One sees that Herb L. Pierre collected a lot of plants from Thailand, Cambodia, Laos. Some from Mexico, Ecuador, India, but less so. For Davallia, I searched and found many listings for about 5 kinds of it but did not find the one listed here (looks like Speluneae?) "herb. l pierre" davallia https://www.google.ca/search?q=mont+torrato&oq=mont+torrato&aqs=chrome..69i57.2703j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#q=%22herb.+l+pierre%22+davallia+&* https://science.mnhn.fr/all/list?countryCode=SG Looking at the line starting with "Hab". maybe it is "at marken Caruire[[?]]Carbody [[?]]. Can't be Cambodia because Cambodia didn't exist in 1890. It could be Camire, Phillipines if the botanist collected in S.E. Asia - @kdownunder JKB: Pierre collected in "Indochina". Cambodge = Cambodia
