The morning fair & pleasant.  Still on the mend.  Nothing of importance is transpiring around the hospital worth speaking of.

April 2nd [[?]]
The Rev Elisha Weaver delivered a fine Sermon.  After the Sermon the Rev brief words [[elated me?]].  Weavers visit & encouraged Prayer after which two old hymns were sung.

The hospital folks all astir preparing for inspection  The morning cool  the sun came out at noon after which it was quite pleasant on the porches around the Hospital.

Editor Christian Recorder to a crowded House  James Lynch [[on?]] a few of the objects of Mr. subscription for his familiar verses of an & the meeting dismissed
