Several men ordered from the tents Before the Board for examination. The result of the examination no one knows anything of. as yet. Several of the Boys caught down street & put in the Dead House

Raining hard & bids fair to ^[[be]] wet the Day throughout Health good & wounds feeling tolerable well. All night in tent No 1 Officers as merry as ever & all apparently well & Hearty nothing transpired throughout the Day worth speaking of Rained nearly all the evening Reported that Columbia the Capitol of the state Captured by a part of Sherman's Army & burnt to the ground
