The morning Cloudy thought it cleared off about 8 oclock & was a beautiful Day
Inspection of Quarters at 10 A M by Brig Gen Williams & Staff everything in capital order a mail came in received one Letter three papers writing Paper envelopes & stamps from Home & one Letter from Uncle James his family all well Several of the men absent from Roll & put in the Dead House

Morning Cloudy & Blustery Rained about 8 A M & was cloudy thereafter through the Day. some of the men that were put in the Dead House last Night were taken out this morning by order of the Doctor & put to walking in Front of No 1 Hospital with a Knapsack of sand on & under Guard. written an answer to the Letter received from Uncle James
