they were all busy preparing their things for the tramp

[[preprinted]] SUNDAY, MAY 7, 1865. [[/preprinted]]
The morning fair the Regt. formed in line at six AM & started for Orangeburg  a small detachment of sick & wounded were left in Camp in charge of Lieut Harmen. The men assigned to Quarters in the street of Co "G" busy all day fixing up my tent in company with S. J. Robinson. when night came I was tired and sleepy enough & not feeling [[either?]] very well from the Days fatigue.
