Compared with zeta Puppis
These lines are assumed to be = 10 in zeta Puppi and the table gives their intensity in A.G.C. 17572 as comp. w. zeta Puppis
4688 = 0
4633 = [[strikethrough]] 0 [[/strikethrough]] [[underline]] 2 [[/underline]] (Underscoring means that the line is brighter)
4544 = [[strikethough]] 0 [[/strikethrough]] 8
4472 = 40
4201 = 8
4027 = 15
3925 [[strikethrough]] = [[strikethrough]] Sp. too faint, but the line appears to be present.

Other lines present in A.G.C. 17572 are compared w. those in epsilon Orionis on the same scale as above.
Hyd. lines = those in epsilon Orionis
Taken of line in epsilon Or. = 10
4925 = 7? Sp. faint at red end
4649 = 9
4387 = 11
4144 = 8
4120 = 9? {
4116 = 8? {These lines not separated in A.G.C. 17572
4089 = [[strikethrough]] 4 [[/strikethrough]] 10
4009.5 = 4

The lines 4472 & 4026 which appear to be common to epsilon Orionis & zeta Puppis are of like intensity in A.G.C. 17572 as in epsilon Orionis.

Compared with 29 Canis Maj. (A.G.C. 9311) differs in having 4688 absent, 4633 fainter (but bright), 4649 present. This line, 4649, is strong and appears to be superposed on the longer wave-length edge of the bright band 4633 which is fainter in this star than in 29 Can. MAj.

Compared with 30 Can. Maj. (A.G.C. 9313) differs in having 4688 ^[[(dark)]] absent or very faint, 4633 (bright) present but very faint, and slightly different intensities in some of the additional dark lines.
The line bet. 4 [[strikethrough]] 633 [[/strikethrough]] 544 & 4471 is very faint in 30 Can. Maj., but a little more intense in A.G.C. [[strikethrough]] 9 [[/strikethrough]] 17572 than 4544.

H delta in 29 & 30 Can. Maj. and in A.G.C. 17572 seems to have a bright thread running down the centre of a dark band.
