[[best guess - Rejoin]] 6^h-30

Identification of objects marked on AM 1792 superposed in [[?transparency]] [[strikethrough]] of [[strikethrough]] frm Am 3284.
So many defects appear upon this position that comparison is very difficult.

1. South of Sirius: Bright on negative, faint on position, defect nearly covers position. Bright in AM 1785. Pecular shape in AM 1722. Bright in AM 1837, 1912, 2294, 2364, 2375, 2437, 2448, 3048, 3065, 3147, 3168, 3182 [[margin]] -17°1635 [[/margin]]
[[strikethrough]] Apparent absence on [[/strikethrough]]
Am 3284 shows that this star is really faint and its apparent faintness on the position is not due to defect. May be of Algot type.
This is -17°1635 6^h42 27.8 - 17°53.397.
See pp. 44, 45.

2. Brighter on negative than in position. This is the following of a double star.

Brighter on Am 2294 than in 1912, 2364 2375, 2448, 3048, 3065
This is difficult on AC plates and should be examined on B plates. It is below -23 and therefore not on Dm charts. Approx. 7^h-27
