[[crossed out]] In a building consecrated to the science of anthropology are to be seen the Musee Broca, the Laboratoire d'Anthropologie, the E'cole d'Anthropologie, and the Societe d'anthropologie. All of these combined constitute the Institute d'Anthropologie. [[/crossed out]]

[[underlined]] Jardin des Plantes, [[/underlined]] affords the best opportunity of studying the comparative anatomy of man and his relations to geological history. Here are to be seen the celebrated crania of [[blank space]] the Naulette jaw and the skeletons of the extinct mammals found associated with human remains. Here presides M. de Quatrefages the Nestor of French Scientists, and here may be seen the work of M. Gaudry among the Tertiary mammals. The organ of of the Institution is [[blank space]]

[[underlined]] Musee Broca. [[/underlined]] iN a separate building in the Latin quarter may be seen the Musee Broca, the Laboratoire d'Anthropologie, the Ecole d'Anthropologie, and the Societe d'Anthropologie, The first three constitute the Institut d'Anthropologie. (see my anthrop. in Paris)
