A well chosen and valuable exchange from the Cincinnati Museum Association was received and cataloged this month. The articles were collected in Congo Francais (Loango) by Carl Stickelmann who has supplied the fullest information about each piece.

Mr. S.H.Boyd, U.S.Consul at Bankok Siam has sent to the Institution a series of Siamese and Chinese playing cards and dice.

The noticeable feature about the accessions in this department is the number recorded as gifts, being this month practically the character of all consignments received.
