W. True, Curator-in-Charge, U.S. National Museum. Dear Sir: I have the honor to submit the report of the Dept. of Ethnology during the month of August 1892. My force during the month was as follows: Firstly, the Museum force consists of the Curator and Msrs. Shindler, Epes, Soh, Hawley. The Curator's time was spent almost entirely in the routine of his office; one week was spent in Rochester, examining the collections there and also in attendance upon the American Association. Mr. Epes continues to perform Mr Hough's duties in his absence, cataloging
