Mr. Paul Chalfin
Webster Hotel
Lincoln Park West
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Mr. Chalfin,-

A short time ago I had the pleasure of seeing your friend, Mr. Koons, who told me not to fail to see you next time I go to Chicago.

As my brother Andre Seligmann and myself are taking a short trip to the Middle West, we will most probably stop in Chicago just to see you, and this will very likely be at the beginning of next week, between two trains. I will then call you up and will be glad if we can take a meal together, the more so that I have not seen you for a very long time and would enjoy renewing our acquaintance.

Looking forward to seeing you soon, pray believe me,

Sincerely yours,
