Dear Mrs. Lamont,--
My father, Mr. Jacques Selimann, does not intend to come over this winter, and has asked me to remember him to you at the first opportunity I would have.
May I have the pleasure of calling on you some time in the near future?- I am looking forward to it the more so that I am very anxious to see how our beautiful Gothic mantel looks in your home. I hear by rumors that it does particularly well, and I would be glad to enjoy this sight myself.
I will take the liberty of calling you up to find out what time would be suitable to you.
Will you kindly remember me to Mr. Lamont,
Yours sincerely,

(Germain Seligmann)
