My dear Mr. LiƩbert,-

You surely have not forgotten having had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Henry W. Rogers at Mrs. Whitton's house.

Mrs. Rogers has not been abroad for some years, and at a time when passports and other complications did not exist.

I told Mrs. Rogers that you will be delighted to facilitate to her the French formalities, and suggested that she asks you an appointment by telephone, when about time to sail, so as to obviate to the annoyance of a long wait when she calls at your office.
