Dear Madam,

We have received an inquiry from Madame de Montganac if we have received from you the check in payment of the two small tables which were imported and delivered to you in February. As we suggested in our letter to you, we presume that you may have made the remittance of $36.-- direct to Madame de Montagnac. Would you be kind enough to inform us if this is the case so that we can confirm it to her. During present conditions, it is quite possible that a letter should not reach destination or only after a long delay.

Respectfully yours,
JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO.,Inc.,
