My dear Miss Marbury:-

I received this morning a letter asking me to be present at the coming dinner you are giving in behalf of the League of Nations. I would gladly come were it not that I am sailing this very week for Europe.

Hoping to have the pleasure of seeing you in Paris in the very near future, pray believe me,

Most sincerely yours,

Miss Elizabeth Marbury,
