Saw a blue jay eating some sweet corn. 
Saw a flock of about 50 bluejays going to roost. They made a great deal of noise. 

Saw some sparrows going to roost in the red-oaks back of Northrops They came in in flocks and after sailing around lit. They did not make much noise.

Nov. 26, Sunday.
Went down to the ravine. A small flock of half a-dozen Pine Siskin's lit in a tree. They turned thier heads this way and that, looked at me, flirted thier tails as if to signal to each other and one by one flew [[to?]] another tree to sun themselves. Then the Red-Head came.
