While writing out my notes on a stump in Maines woods a large bird began to try to sing from the top of a tall tree It sounded like a [[underline]]very[[underline]] cracked Robin's song. Then it flew off. Pretty soon it came back to the same tree and then flew off  It was a bluejay.
