Woodpile this morning.

After dinner I went out to get some water and there was the little Downy Woodpecker on the south side of the tree. With his head and body drawn together to get out of the wind. After watching me a minute he went around the tree.

Feb. 25, Sunday
This morning it is about 20+ warmer.

Heard a Horned Lark sing.

After breakfast a bluejay came after suet. He called awhile and then ate. He would chip off little pieces easily. He saw me and flew off. Two more soon came and ate but they were afraid. The are
