Walker remembers you very well and he talked about a Rousseau painting that he missed which you purchased from Mr. Seney and later sold to Chauchard. I will watch him for you and endeavor to swing him to some business on your pictures- even if it does not come off now - when you come back I think you ought to make the deal for the lot as he is right for big purchases.

I hope you have had a chance to get Mrs. Willys to come in - they will be good buyers when they are once started, as Seligmann has undoubtedly advised you I have done quite a business with them just before they sailed.

I have been lazier than ever in writing letters as I have been expecting to sail every week since the 15th of June but I am sure it will not be long now before I can get away.

With very kindest regards to both Mr. Seligmann and yourself

Believe me

Faithfully yours,
