Mr. Rufus Paterson,
22 East 72nd street
New York

Dear Sir,-

It may interest you to know that, prior to my coming to New York, I have sent here from my Paris house an exceedingly fine selection of works of art.

That a great opportunity exists at present for my American patrons to make purchases of the very finest works of art [[underlined]] for the price they would have paid last winter for works of art of the third or fourth quality, [[/underlined]] is an absolute fact, and simply because of the abnormal purchasing value of the dollar to francs.

I have decided to give the full advantage of this state of things to my patrons by selling in Francs for the amount I am selling these works of art in Paris. It seems to me quite worthwhile your consideration and I trust that you will favor me very soon with your visit and judge for yourself that I am in no possible manner exaggerating the great opportunity which will only last as long as the colossal difference in the exchange between France and America exists.

Very truly yours,
