Mrs. S.H.P. Pell
777 Madison Avenue
New York

My dear Mrs. Pell,-

When I had the honor of being introduced to you at tea one afternoon at Mrs. S.W. Straus's, you were so kind as to ask me to call on you when you would return from California. I will be denied this pleasure, which I regret immensely, as I am sailing next week for Europe and understand that you are still in California.

May I take the liberty of expressing the hope that you are enjoying your stay West, and trust that I may see you again int he Fall.

Pray believe me,

Yours sincerely,

(Germain Seligmann)
