Mrs. Alexander Hamilton Rice,
Carlton House,
Madison Avenue & 47th street
New York

Dear Mrs. Rice,-
I have just landed with a box of sweets that our dear friend, Mr. Eugene Glaenzer, has asked me to bring to you. I could of course send it to your apartment, but I hear you are not in town.
Would you be so kind as to let me know when you return so that I can deliver my message to you and also pay you my respects.
I hope that you and Dr. Rice are enjoying good health, and looking forward to hearing from you soon, pray believe me,
Yours sincerely,

Mr father, Mr. Jacques Seligmann, who does not intend to come to New York this winter, wishes to be remembered to you and Dr. Rice.
