Instruction in practical farming and in mechanical arts commenced and continued throughout the entire course from a day and a half to two days a week.  (See remarks.)

Instruction in sewing and household industries commenced and continued throughout the course, employing the girls from a day and a half to two days each week.

During study hour, from 7 to 8:20 a.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., the students are assembled, the men and women in separate buildings, under the direction of teachers who are ready to render
assistance when needed.  There is no school session on Mondays.
