THUMBNAIL DESCRIPTION OF CAST 

LEON VAN HATTEN
Started Acting Career with the Shearer Group in 1946. Has been with the Queens Little Theatre Group and with the Urban League Players.

LINCOLN POPE
Was with the Lincoln Players of Lincoln University ten years, now attending Boston University working on his master's degree as an English Major. Started with Shearer Players in 1944.

OLIVE BOWLES
Started with the Shearer Players in 1945. She designed the "Lost Zoo Animals" for Countee Cullen which have been shown all over the country and are now on permanet display at Atlanta University.

OLIVE ROACH
Graduated Magna Cum Laude fro C.C.N.Y. Studying for Master's Degree, Majoring in Languages at C.C.N.Y. First appearance with the Shearer Players. 

ELIZABETH WHITE
Founder of the Group. Has appeared in several Broadway Productions, including George Abbott's "Brown Sugar" in 1938. Wrote several ballets for Negro Dance Groups in Federal Theatre. Was awarded a Scholarship at Vassar for her outstanding achievement in that work. Now working on "Othello" which the group plans to do this summer at Oak Bluffs, Mass.

RICHARD DIXON
Pre-Med Student at C.C.N.Y., making his debut with the Shearer Players.
