Dear Sir:-

I was greatly surprised to find in the March "News" that you had announced your resignation as president of Tuskegee, I feel sure it is received by the trustees and many others with real regret.

I assure you of my prayers and best wishes as you take up some other line of work.

Perhaps I have never mentioned my age, but I will be ninety my next birthday, and you can see my writing isn't good, and many mistakes; but I am well and deeply thankful for my blessings.
