Act 1---Scene 2d--Indians appear, following the trails of the White-they encounter with them-the amity broken up by
The Sudden Appearance of Kairrissah!
Accoutred FOR THE FIGHT, who follows the deputation of the Whites, alone. Scene last,-Council Chamber of the English-Governor, &c. discovered-Kairrissah enters to them-their treachery to him, and attempt to secure him, foiled by the dauntless courage of Kairrissah, who escapes unhurt.

Act 2-Scene 3d-Indians discovered in council-treachery of the Chief, and death of Chippewegan, by Kairrissah-entrance of Onanoonka, daughter of Chippewegan, and the betrothed of Kairrissah,-who saves him from the fury of the Indians.

Act 3-Scene 1:
Terrific Storm!-Burning of the Praries!
Preservation of Mellicent from the fury of the Flames.
Scene 3d-The ENTIRE STAGE
Enveloped in Flames!!!
Kairrissah is SEEN STRUGGLING THROUGH THEM, with Mellicent, whom he bears away in safety.

Scene the last-Onanoonka discovered, surrounded by her Chiefs-solemnity of the rites of Indian conjuration-TERRIFIC STORM-end of the act.

Act 4-Scene 4-English Governor and attendants discovered in council-Kairrissah enters with Mellicent, who is to be ransomed by the child of Wampeniga-they refuse to do so-the soldiery surround and overpower Kairrissah, who is borne of in chains-preservation of Mellicent-treachery and apprehension of Sir G. Bellair, whom the Governor pronounces GUILTY.

Scene 2d-Rescue of the Child Wampeniga, from the custody of the Whites by Onanoonka, who escapes through the fire of the soldiery.

Scene 3d-Sir George Bellair, discovered in prison-entrance of Kairrissah-death of Bellair-escape of Kairrissah.

Scene 4th-Indian discovered-stake prepared for the sacrifice of a victim-Kairrissah rushes in and falls at stake, yielding himself to the laws of the nations-entrance of Onanoonka, with the child, wounded-Kairrissah is saved, and death of Onanoonka.

Act 5-Scene 2d-Indians discovered, mourning over the body of Onanoonka-vow revenge.

Scene 4th-A Gothic Chapel-the Coffin of Sir George Bellair on Tressels-Mellicent and Sir Oliver kneeling on each side,=Priests, &c.

A HYMN CHANTED.
