JIM JACOBS (Louie) joined the National Company of No Place To Be Somebody in Chicago last February the same week that Grease, the new '50s rock'n'roll musical he co-authored, opened for a long run there at the Kingston Mines Theatre; later this season Grease will be presented here off-Broadway. As an actor, Jacobs has worked with Paul Sills, and appeared in the title role of the midwest premiere of Jimmy Shine at the Candlelight Playhouse, where he was nominated for a Jefferson Award as Chicago's Best Actor of the Year. Other appearances in the Chicago area have included leading roles in productions of Entertaining Mr. Sloane, Picnic on the Battlefield, Until the Monkey Comes, Flora, The Red Menace, Take Me Along, Don't Drink the Water, and The Serpent. He was also seen as the radical college student in Haskell Wexler's film for Paramount, Medium Cool.

MALCOLM HURD (Harry) is a native of Washington, D.C., who began his work in theatre as an assistant stage manager of No Place To Be Somebody at the Public Theatre in the spring of 1969.

GARLAND LEE THOMPSON (Production Stage Manager) served for three seasons as stage manager for eleven productions at the federally-funded Inner City Repertory Theatre in Los Angeles. He was assistant director of the Los Angeles production Lonne Elder III's Ceremonies in Dark Old Men. As an actor, he has appeared in West Coast productions of LeRoi Jones' double bill, Dutchman and The Toilet in 1965. He also appeared in A Raisin In The Sun and The Death of Bessie Smith. He starred in The Legent of Jimmy Blue Eyes, a film hailed in the European Film Festivals and nominated for an Academy Award in 1964. He comes to New York City after successfully stage managing the national tour of No Place To Be Somebody. He made his debut as playwright and director of his new play Sisyphus And The Blue-Eyed Cyclops, at the Actor's Studio (L.A.), soon to be produced by Springer-Warner Productions.
