Mr. HENRY F. THOMPSON is a principal at Warrensburg, Missouri. This school is considered one of the best schools of its grade in the State. He has two assistants, and is doing good and thorough work. Students who come from Warrensburg, almost without exception, are among the best in their classes.

Mr. Thompson was graduated in 1897; since graduation he has continued to improve himself. He has attended the summer schools at Lincoln Institute every summer since their beginning. In this time he has reviewed the normal course as it is now prescribed, and has taken special lessons in Greek. Under native teachers he has had three years instruction in German.

HENRY F. THOMPSON.

Mr. Thompson has enlisted the sympathy of his superintendent at Warrensburg, who gives him quite a scope in the buying of books for the school library. Among the books which he has purchased is all the literature produced by Negroes which he could find, and this is used as supplementary work in recitations.

He has taught with much success at Memphis, Higginsville and Holden, before going to Warrensburg.
