The collection of stone implements from Guadeloupe sent by M. Louis Guesde, of Pointe-à-Pitre, and mentioned in this report, was placed in the hands of Prof. Otis T. Mason, and used by him in the preparation of a monograph on the antiquities of Guadeloupe, which will appear in the Smithsonian Report for 1884.
