The shoe salesman had trotted back and forth t to the stockroom about a hundred and ninety-seven times to try to find a pair of shoes that would be right for the young lady customer.
Finally he sank exhauseted into the seat next to her and said, "Miss do you mind if I rest for a minute? Your feet are killing me."
