Has seen but [[underlined]]two[[/underlined]] chipped implements that were notched for hafting---found in this section.  (Enclosed outline sketch.)  Both of striped slate.  The material is soft and brittle.  They show no marks of wear, except at the notches.  The sharp edges are somewhat rounded.  Thinks they were used as substitutes for hammerstones.
