None in the Nat. Hist. Society. Specimens are donated from people living throughout the country that know nothing of such things; consequently they never pick up any rude unfinished specimens. Did not find time to examine private collections, but in his own found specimen that answers description, about 5 inches long and 3 broad; blue slate, notched on both edges suggesting a withe or thong for handle. Found in second river terrace on surface of ground. Is the only one he knows of and is satisfied there are no more such in vicinity. Will investigate further.
