Generation Gap Eugene R. Perret 28/MAY/1968 "Mother, I'm bringing a friend home for dinner."...Years ago that meant a boy. Nowadays it could mean boys, girls, fruits or flowers, ice-cream cake, or candy. When I used to bring a friend home, it was either a boy or a girl. Nowadays it could be a border-line case.
