At cemetery W. of road to Gray on N. & S. line, facing S. there is a long cut - 4-6 ft deep which shows (on S. side);

a = yellow loess - 3 ft, with many small nodules
b = gray loess - 3 in to more up the hill Iron tubes.
c - a clayey ferretto 6 in - 1 ft.
d - reddish drift, bluish a little lower.  Photograph this in afternoon or early morning.
The gray runs out below & yellow loess thins.
