it did not leave. The other nests were empty; the young having probably left. Saw a Brown Thrasher in a thicket. It flew away when I peeped in. In the lower part of Fisk's meadow I saw a young Meadowlark. It was wild and could fly well.
That Catbird's nest was robbed.
