72 crow tracks. July 15, Sunday. It rained quite hard this morning. Jim and I took a walk in the afternoon toward the Pine Glen Farm Resort. Saw a number of Phoebes along the Rocks and heard the [[fall?]] note of a Bluebird. There were English Sparrows and Chimney Swifts were around the cottages We saw a family of King birds. They were very noisy. Coming back we ran across a Robin roost [[end page]] [[start page]] 73 in some scrub oaks. They were coming in for the night. There were over a hundred there already. They seemed to be feeding on the ground. July 16, Monday This morning I went fishing before breakfast. Two Phoebes called from the rocks across the river. One would call and the other answer. Twice while I was baiting my hook a pair of Dusky Ducks lit in the back water only to take wing when I looked up.
