Whistler, Gillot and D E Goncourt  - were of their circle - 
 The Seminar was attended by every member of the club now living McCusing [[?]]Baron[[?]]and Motono. the Japanese Minister in France.  The affair was most interesting and steps were then taken for the holding of an International Exhibition of Japanese Art to be held in Paris either next year or the year following,  The idea is a pretty one - the collectors of Japanese art residing anywhere outside of Japan are to be invited to loan masterpieces.  And eventually similar exhibitions will be held in England, Germany, and America.
