Your four letters dated Nov, 28th, reached me this morning. I also received in the same mail the copies of Mr. Hargreave's letters to Mr. Buhl. Many thanks for all your kindness. I note with much satisfaction the purchase and distribution of the P.[[?]]. & Co. stock formerly owned by Smedley -  The matter as arranged is entirely agreeable to me and I am glad you gave my endorsement to Mr. Hargreave's note.
