any question. A great question with me now is Egyptian art - of its pottery of early glazed kind I must, when possible, secure specimens if only of the smallest fragments. This is still fortunately possible but it means having business dealings with the worst gang of high and low scoundrels in the whole universe. An other branch of the question is whether my collection can express the power of line and forms to their full value and as I have so long desired, without including stone and wood sculptures
