The collection from Marshall Hall, Md., justifies the same remarks made upon the Simonton collection. Mr. Bryan was a gentleman of liberal education who had resided for nearly his entire life upon this [[strikethrough]] one [[/strikethrough]] plantation which was itself of considerable historic interest and was located directly across the Potomac opposite Mount Vernon. Here for fifty years of his life Mr. Bryan gathered every object of archaeologic interest or value which came within [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] ^[[his]] range, [[strikethrough]] of his vision.
