The [[strikethrough]] determination [[/strikethrough]] decision of the [[strikethrough]] Dean for [[/strikethrough]] Asst. Secretary in charge of the Museum to make plaster casts of typical stone implements belonging to the prehistoric age of the United States & necessitated a special research into this material ^of this department. [[strikethrough]] In past time there had been the proper [[/strikethrough]] Implements such as were typical had to be [[strikethrough]] chosen [[/strikethrough]] ^selected. [[strikethrough]] And this had to be [[/strikethrough]] In times past [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] moulds had been made for many of these implements & the [[strikethrough]] cho [[/strikethrough]] selection was limited to these moulds in order to avoid the expense, useless & improper, of making [[strikethrough]] aboo any extra  [[/strikethrough]] sets of moulds of [[strikethrough]] an [[/strikethrough]] duplicate implements.
