8  Civetta - A large [[symbol: male]] trapped at camp.  Tracks of others seen.  Stomach contents rodent hair & bones.
9  Cervulus - One shot, a [[symbol: male]].  Many heard barking at night & on cloudy days at noon.  One other seen.  A few tracks on edge of fields.
10 Cervus (Sambar) - One old [[symbol: female]] bought of native hunters.  A saw one on a drive, disappear over a ridge at 500 yds or so distant.  Tracks, trails & dung seen in forest edge bordering clearings.  A forest inhabitant doubtless.
11 Red-bellied Squirrel - A half dozen shot by A. at camp from a large tree.  Not seen elsewhere.
12 Chipmunk - 4 shot from same tree.  One other seen in bush at camp.
