of Acacia tree. I got within range of them & bagged a fine ♂ & ♀
There were about 20 many half grown young. No sound or call was given. The ran off thru the trees & later I saw & herd them climbing thru the dry bamboo thickets.
The ♀ contained a well haired embryo of a light sorrel red but all the half grown yg seen were blue-gray like their parents. We then proceeded up the path to the open field in the forest & to the culpe but the Gibbons did not call. At 11:30 I heard a rustling of branches & discovered a herd of Macaques feeding in a great tall tree on the budding flowers & leaves
It was a semi naked tree & the macaques could be seen tearing at the buds & dropping fruits to the ground which was the noise I heard. A low wailing was at times heard also. I fired at the largest & then at any within range as they rushed past me. [[strikethrough]] No[[/strikethrough]] The ones I got were two large ♀ ones light faced & the other with dark foreheadbands,
