Thus we have civil war inside our own regiments. Some of the officers were leaving Calcutta at 8 P.M. & I saw them off at the station. One man had served 10 months in France & was invalided to India & enroute to Mesopotamia. None of them spoke at length on the germans but all were determined to root them out & conquer.
